The analysis covers all 50 US states and DC, checks against 935+ state-specific rules, and returns a full risk report with a ready-to-send negotiation letter — in under a minute.

Why we built it

Most renters sign a 12-month contract worth tens of thousands of dollars in rent without reading more than a few paragraphs of the lease. The clauses that cause the most trouble — stacked late fees, deposit deduction language that ignores state caps, self-help eviction provisions — are almost always visible in the document before signing. They just aren't obvious without knowing what to look for.

LeaseGuard is built to close that gap: give every renter the same level of scrutiny that a lawyer-assisted review would catch, at a price that doesn't require a legal budget.
